OUR IMPACT
VALUING OUR CHILDREN SCHOOL INITIATIVE

After being exposed to a group “Calling All Brothers” started the nationwide trend to greet students in the fall on their first day of school at a Connecticut elementary school. Hubert Roberts of InvolvedDad launched the "Value Our Children" campaign to have adults across the Genesee County area to encourage, to support, and to be role models of success for our children in the Flint community.
While other communities would greet their students on the first day of school each year. Mr. Roberts and other faithful community members would greet the students once a month. This effort was done for three consecutive years until COVID-19's impact on all of America.
